Updated: Sep 7, 2020

- Central, WA

Many freeways are closed due to low visibility combined with high winds and wildfire smoke moving into the area.

Here's what's CLOSED due to fire/collisions/hazardous conditions:

  • I-90 both directions Grant County line to Ritzville

  • SR 261 is being closed from Washtucna all the way to I-90 due to low visibility and blowing dust. Please avoid the area.

  • US 395both directions Ritzville to SR 26. The US 395 closure is a thirty-mile stretch. There is no detour at this time.

  • US 2 both directions from SR 172 to SR 17

  • US 2 is now CLOSED from Davenport at MP 250 to mp 239

  • SR 172 both directions

  • SR 17 both directions (North of Moses Lake Metro region)

  • SR 21 is now CLOSED from US 395 to I-90

The Washington State Department of Transportation said that other closures are likely closures could come with little warning. Please be prepared. This is an updating list and will be updated as the WSDOT releases new information.
