New Art Gallery Moses Lake Coming Into Focus: opening March 5th focusing on the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

The Moses Lake Museum and Art Center is opening a new gallery focusing on capturing photographs from Moses Lake in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Photographic images were chosen from the William R. Hilderbrand and Margaret Schiffner collections They are bringing a historic view of Moses Lake during a time of booming growth in the community.
With the introduction of new gallery the museum is also having a photography contest for all age 18 and younger. The entry deadline is March 5th.
RULES FOR SUBMITTING AN ENTRY:
Entrant must be aged 18 or younger.
Photo must be taken by entrant (adults may help younger children).
One entry per person.
Photo should be taken in Moses Lake. We want to see recognizable businesses, landmarks, uniforms, or logos. Photos from the last 3 years are allowed.
Entry is by email only. Send your entry to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please choose the highest resolution available to you.
The Museum will print your photo on high quality, standard size photo paper (8.5 x 11 inches). We may crop your image to fit that parameter.
Entry deadline is March 5 and the display dates are March 12 – April 15, 2021.
Entries must be picked up between April 6 – April 30, 2021. Photos will be disposed of after April 30.
Please include this information with your entry: The photographer’s first and last name, age, a title for the photograph, and a parent’s name and phone number. The top three photos in the following age groups will win a gift card to a local business: 8 and under, 9 – 11, 12 – 14, 15 – 18.
