MOSES LAKE - If you're looking for a festive, spooky time this Halloween, then rejoice! Spirit Halloween is opening up a pop-up store in Moses Lake.
The halloween store will be housed in the former Party City building at the Moses Lake Town Center, located at 1020 Stratford Road, near State Route 17. Spirit Halloween is a seasonal retailer chain that is owned by Spencer's Gifts LLC. Spirit Halloween gives customers the opportunity to purchase costumes, decorations and accessories for both adults and children as well as other halloween merchandise.
Spirit Halloween stores are typically open from July to November, open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The Moses Lake pop up shop will be open for business in a few weeks, although an exact date has not yet been announced. The new store has signage up and work is underway in the building to get it ready for opening. This is not the first time Spirit Halloween has opened up a store in Moses Lake. The seasonal retailer chain opened up shop in the fashion Bug building at Grant County Mall, next to Safeway, in 2013.
Moses Lake residents have been anticipating the opening of a halloween store in town after rumors circulated that Spirit Halloween would be returning to Moses Lake two years ago. The seasonal pop up shop will help fill the void left behind by other seasonal specialty retailers like Party City, which used to operate at the Moses Lake Town Center until its closing in late 2019.
