A magnitude 2.5 earthquake was detected near North Bend Wednesday evening shortly after 8:30pm. The epicenter of the earthquake, recorded at a depth of 3.48 miles, was about 12 miles north-northeast from North Bend and about 10.5 miles east of Carnation.
The quake was initially recorded as a magnitude 3, before it was reviewed by a seismologist.
