Moses Lake has been rated Quote Wizzard by Lending Tree Insurance‘s safest driving city in Washington.
Moses Lake beet out 9 other cities in the top ten lest Including Port Angeles, Longview, Bellevue and Seattle. The study looks at how many DUIs are issued throughout the year, speeding tickets, crashes, and other citations. Moses Lake was also the only Central Washington city to make it onto the list.
The website had this to say about the area.
“Smack dab in the middle of the state and the center of two major highways, Moses Lake earns the title of the safest driving city in Washington. Even though it’s bisected by route 17 and I-90, the small-city shows that it can handle the commuter traffic with ease”.
Not only did we reach number one in the list but according to the Moses Lake Police Department‘s yearly report the number of DUIs and Traffic Infractions in the area dropped through the 2018 year. With a current regional population of 38,069 and still on the rise Moses Lake doesn’t have it that bad.
An an updated list is to be published by the end of the 2019 Year according to the insurance company Quote Wizard.
