Living Nightmare

With one of the largest haunted houses in the Moses Lake area, Living Nightmare has been thrilling thousands of all ages.

The owners Shelia Jones and her husband started out the haunted house with the love for the holiday and remembered as a kid growing up in the area every house was decorated and now days you’re lucky to see one here and there. they are both animal members and they love to support the nation's veterans and have both family in friends in the service.

This is their 12th year and started out in their front yard. They didn't expect the big growth of the maze to be a boom. It started with a couple of kids and has risen to 45 volunteers at 8,000 sq ft of space with 10 different rooms. With over 1,600 attendees annually. In response to the annual fundraiser to the GCAnimal Outreach the animal shelter sends out volunteers to help set up and decorate for the big event.

Shelia's favorite part is helping animals and bringing the community together and seeing their kids have fun along with gaining the experience and building a unique haunted house and treat everyone like family and teach the younger generation that helping out the community is not just boring.
