UPDATE: 1 killed, 1 injured in shooting. The injured victim has been transported to Samaritan Healthcare no words on thier conditions. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call MLPD at 509-762-1160.
A drive-by shooting by Carpenter Park has closed Gibby Rd in Moses Lake. According to eyewitnesses accounts many heard many gun shots and saw kids playing in the park when it happened.
There are unconfirmed reports of injuries but are NOT confirmed yet by local authorities. We are trying to gather more information on any injuries and deaths related to the shooting. Other eyewitnesses accounts heard the gunshots from as far as S Milwaukee Ave two blocks north of the incident.
MLPD is on the scene and it is undetermined if the shooting was targeted or random and when Gibby Rd will reopen.
