An earthquake was felt in Spokane just before 5 p.m. pacific time Tuesday evening.
People who reportedly felt the quake to report the earthquake on social media. There are no immediate reports of damage.
“On the phone with the USGS who says there was definitely an earthquake and that they received reports from as far as Spokane of people feeling activity. I'm told the location of the quake will be provided online here once it registers,” KMTV Reporter David Hottle tweeted.
“According to @LastQuake, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Southern Idaho at 4:52 p.m. PST. It was felt as far out though as Spokane, Billings, Great Falls. Even some reports close to the Canadian border,”
