COVID-19 cases rising sharply in Grant County. 200 cases in the span of five days

COVID-19 cases are rising sharply throughout the county. As of today, August 9th the Grant County Health District is reporting 200 new cases in the span of five days, cases haven’t been reported above 100 cases since January 18th when 134 cases were reported.



Out of those 200 cases 105 came from PCR tests, and 95 came from an antigen test. The new report today said cases came from Moses Lake and surrounding towns except for the Coulee City area.


Cases by city/town

- Moses Lake is still leading in the county in total number of COVID-19 cases at 5,316.

- Quincy region (Quincy, George, Crescent Bar) has 1,992 total cases,

- Mattawa 1,134 cases,

- Ephrata with a total of 1,098 total cases.
