Adams County Sheriff’s received a call about a vehicle in the 2200 block of Charla Rd in the Edison Tracks region of town. The report came in about a vehicle with blood on the hood. When Sheriff deputies found the car matching the description they also found a deceased individual inside the vehicle.
WSP Crime Lab was called in to assist the scene and secured the area. The crime lab was also called to locate other human remains from the vehicle inside the trunk. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has not yet released the identify of the victim due to the extend of the bodies condition.
The sheriff’s office said “Investigations like these are very tasking and delicate. And once the body can be positively be identified they will then identify his or her family.”
