Don’t park in front of fire hydrants, This Anaheim driver learned the hard way

— Anaheim, CA

Don't park in front of a fire hydrant.

Seems like common sense, but some people don't get the message. We think this driver in Anaheim, Calif., has gotten it, though. Tuesday, Anaheim Fire & Rescue tweeted what happens when there's a fire and there's a car in the way.

“Is a closer parking spot worth broken windows and the citations and towing fees?” the department said.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, firefighters were dispatched to a residential fire at the 1100 block of N. West Street.

“There is a reason the curbs are RED people,” Anaheim police said in the tweet.
