Drivers will need to add a little extra time to their morning commutes Wednesday morning as city officials close Stratford Rd between Knolls Vista Dr and Broadway Ave. The Stratford crossing will be closed from approximately 8 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
City crews from Fire, Streets and Parks will be putting up lighting to coincide with the “Light Up Moses Lake” community lighting event. By using the fire truck and the boom truck, crews can decorate both sides of the crossing at the same time. The fire truck can extend across the lanes to reach.
Drivers getting in and out of downtown are being asked to use Broadway Avenue (SR-171), and Wheeler Rd, and Grape Dr to get to SR-17.
