Early Sunday Morning Crash in Quincy

A rollover crash early Sunday morning on state Route 28 about five miles east of Quincy lead to the death of a 24 year old man.


Twenty-Four year old Angel Sandoval Munoz was driving a 1996 Plymouth Neon eastbound on SR - 28 at 1:30 a.m pst when he lost control driving a curve near Road 10 NW. The car went off the road, and into the westbound ditch and rolled several times, according to the Washington State Patrol.


WSP Troopers say Sandoval Munoz was ejected from the car in result to not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle came to rest on the westbound shoulder. Sandoval Munoz was pronounced dead at the scene. The state patrol continued to investigate the crash. State Route 28 was closed for close to four hours.
