The Ephrata Police Department and the Grant Sheriff’s Office apprehended 25-year-old Anthony Yates of Ephrata, WA around 4:30pm Tuesday afternoon. According to a sheriffs office post an off duty Ephrata police officer spotted the stolen 1995 Honda Civic on Dodson Rd south of town near Neva Lake Rd.
Sheriff Deputies and Ephrata PD caught up to the suspect on the 1300 block of Rd A-NW and then took him into custody and booked into the Grant County Jail in Ephrata for the possession of a stolen vehicle. GCSO said that the vehicle was returned to its owner.
