The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from the county jail in downtown Ephrata (north of Moses Lake)
Deputies are searching for Carlos Camarena, 5'10", 160 lbs. Camarena was last seen in the area of the courthouse in the southwest portion of Ephrata. The sherif’s office said K9 units will be deployed soon, and is asking everyone in the 1st Ave SW to 11th Ave SW portion of Ephrata to go indoors and await further instructions.
Escapee has a non-violent criminal history. Call 9-1-1 if seen.
