A haystack fire has closed Rd B NW by Rd 7 NW. According to Grant County Fire District 13 first responders were dispatched around 8:00am and around 413 tons of hay were burning when they arrived. GCFD 13 was able to save 300 tons. Grant County Fire District 5 also assisted in battling the fire.

The haystack fire burned the power pole causing it to fall causing power outages to homes and fields in the area. RD B. is closed between Roads 7 and 6 due to electrical hazards. According to FIRE DISTRICT 13 Rd B could be closed till tomorrow. The fire is expected to burn for several days and many need to avoid the area.
