Three individuals were taken into custody on felony theft charges Friday after an initial report of illegal dumping.

Deputies were called to a report of illegal dumping in the 1800 block of Sutton Road, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation, authorities reportedly discovered a vehicle that was reported stolen from Grant County, law enforcement officials said.

Authorities conducted at a residence in the proximity of the location of the original call, which lead to three individuals being taken into custody for felony crimes within Adams County.

The felony crimes the three individuals were taken into custody for include drugs, theft, possession of stolen property, burglary, trafficking in stolen property and other crimes.

One of the male subjects arrested is facing six felony crimes throughout Adams County, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office stated.

The identities of the individuals involved were not released. The investigation is ongoing which will “likely end in more recovered stolen items and charged crimes.”
