Level 1 evacuations are being issued for residents near an active brush fire in Rock Island near Wenatchee.
The Douglas County Sheriff told regInal news outlets that the notice affects residents living between Woodstone Lane to Van Sickle Avenue and Rock Island Road to Batterman Road. The fire is around 15-acres and began around 6 p.m.
A level 1 evacuation means to be alert. Residents should be aware of the situation.
