Missing Lewiston teen, suspect centered around AMBER Alert found in Spokane Valley
The missing 15-year-old girl from Lewiston Idaho 2hrs 45min south east of Moses Lake and the suspect at the center of a recent Tuesday morning AMBER ALERT near the town of Starbuck, they were then found in Spokane Valley Tuesday evening.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP) Sgt. Greg Riddell, troopers located the vehicle found a man fitting the amber alert description of the suspect driving and a girl in the passenger seat.
According to WSP the suspect led officers on a short pursuit, the two got out of the car and ran near North Park and East Maxwell. Police quickly caught up with them and the suspect is in custody. According to police the missing 15-year-old girl is safe and undergoing a medical evaluation in Spokane. WSP confirmed the drives was 36-year-old Jonathan Wayne Bowles, a noncompliant sex offender.
