MOSES LAKE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ARRESTED FOR DISTRIBUTING OPIOD PILLS ON CAMPUS
- South Moses Lake
A 15-year-old Moses Lake High School student was arrested Tuesday for distributing prescription opioids to classmates on campus. The Moses Lake Police Department received a tip that the student was bringing hydrocodone to campus and discovered Tuesday that the student had given two classmates half a pill each, Capt. Mike Williams said Wednesday. The painkillers had been legally prescribed for the student and there is no evidence that the student was selling the pills. The student was administratively booked on distribution charges and was released to a parent.
