- Moses Lake, WA

Party City in Moses Lake will be closing for good in early February.

In April of last year, corporate executives made the decision to close 45 Party City locations throughout the U.S., including the Moses Lake store. The store will officially close on Saturday, February 1st at 6 p.m. If everything inside the store is sold prior to 6 p.m., the store will close earlier, workers say.

Merchandise in the store has been drastically marked down in price, with liquidation sales beginning in mid-April of last year. Merchandise is 95% off, excluding greeting cards, which are currently 40% off.

Party City opened in Moses Lake in the summer of 2015, joining Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts in the Moses Lake Town Center just north of Downtown.
