Grant County Sheriff’s Office were on pursuit of one vehicle around 1:00pm Thursday afternoon in possible connections to a shooting in rural Royal City after stealing backpacks from a farm worker bus along with shooting at the farm workers. WSP, Royal City PD, GCSO were involved in the pursuit.
Pit maneuver was executed on O’Brian Rd and SR-26 to stop the vehicle where three individuals were aprehended and taken to the Grant County Jail in Ephrata. GCSO is asking those in the Royal City area to contact the department at (509)762-1160.
According to GCSO they will be investigating the shooting at a later time and that no deputies were injured during or after the pursuit.
