Record Low Temperatures Across Central Washington Tonight into Friday

Meteorologist: Jennifer Wojcicki

-- Central, Washington

A high pressure system will start to move into the norther portion of the west coast bringing record low temperatures to our region. While the Moses Lake metro area won't see any snowfall with this arctic blast of cold air, we will however feel those freezing cold temperatures.

The Moses Lake area will see a low of 21 with suburbs such as lower Cascade Valley and western portions of Mae Valley to see temperatures drop into the upper teens.

The average low temperature for mid to late October is in the low 40s. Our forecast models are picking up Friday night's temperatures to dip into the low 20s for Saturday as well. While our region won't see any precipitation we will see high humidity for the Moses Lake - Ephrata area that could bring the possibility of slick conditions and frosted windows.
