Serious collision on SR-17 sends one to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake SR-17 back open

- Moses Lake, WA

Icy conditions were a factor in a three vehicle collision on SR-17 Tuesday morning 16 miles south of Moses Lake.

According to WSP trooper John Bryant, the collision involved two pickups and one sedan. One driver was transported to Samaritan hospital in Moses Lake with serious injuries.

The collision closed the highway for two hours detouring traffic adding travel times from Moses Lake to Othello (vice versa) from 20min to 41min. As of 10:00am the collision is cleared and SR-17 highway is back open.
