Drivers will need to plan ahead and give plenty of time this Monday - Wednesday as one of the city’s busiest intersection closes to restart construction that was halted due to a new construction company bid.
North Stratford Rd will be closed at the Walmart intersection by SR-17 highway and W Knolls Vista Dr. Here only local business owners will be allowed into the closed portion of the roadways. Drivers are encouraged to use SR-171 (Broadway Ave) - SR-17 as their main source of a detour drivers can also use W Knolls Vista Dr - Loop Dr. - Central Dr. as an alternative route to get in and out of Cascade Valley. Airway Drive can also be used to get in and out of Cascade Valley from SR-17.
Location: Stratford Road from Broadway Avenue to Walmart intersection along with Valley Road from Central Drive to Stratford Road will be closed except for local businesses.
Time: 3 a.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Wednesday on September 20-22, 2021
Traffic Impact: Stratford Road will be closed to thru traffic between Broadway Avenue and the Walmart intersection with the Valley and Stratford Road intersection completely closed to the public. Expect long delays. Please use an alternate route as can be seen on the map.
