Two dead in crash at Moses Lake Sand Dunes Saturday evening

Eyewitness accounts say a quad and motorcycle were both traveling on Sand Dunes road just before 7:30 p.m. when both vehicles crashed head-on.

A crash claimed the lives of two people at the Moses Lake Sand Dunes on Saturday evening.

Medical personnel from Grant County Fire District 5 received a call for medical assistance on 8751 Sand Dunes Road at 7:27 p.m. Saturday evening. The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m.

Eyewitness accounts say a quad and motorcycle were both traveling on Sand Dunes road just before 7:30 p.m. when both vehicles crashed on the road head-on. CPR efforts were performed after the crash and LifeFlight responded to the scene, eyewitnesses told MLWA 7 News.

Next of kin has reportedly been notified. At this time, it would be premature to publish information that has not been confirmed or substantiated by medical personnel or the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. A substantial amount of medical personnel responded to the scene.
