Veterans Day, Free Food for active-duty personnel and veterans

To mark Veterans Day, and honor those who served our country, restaurants and businesses are offering discounts and free services for active and retired military personnel.Each restaurant has different offerings, so be sure to look into each one specifically to make sure you’re eligible to take advantage of their Veterans Day discounts and freebies! Also, note that tax and gratuity aren’t included, so make sure to tip your server based on the original price of the meal or snack.


Applebee’s has a tradition of offering veterans and active-duty military a free meal on Nov. 11. It continues the tradition this year.
