WA Okanogan reports 3rd COVID-19 death. Agricultural man in his 30s.



A young healthy agricultural man in his 30s has passed away July, 8th due to complications with COVID-19 in Okanogan County in Washington State making him the third person to die from the virus in the county.


The Okanogan Health Department reported that the man was a resident of Mexico and didn't have any underlying health or chronic health issues. The hardest hit town in Okanogan is Brewster with 46 confirmed cases. Omak has 7 confirmed cases, Okanogan has 3 confirmed cases and Oroville has 1 and sits less than three minutes from the Canadian border.


U.S. 97 and B.C. 97 have been closed into Canada and the U.S. because of the pandemic and is only opened to freight and shipping.
